Renewal

Twirling, whirling, leaves descending

Scurrying, hurrying, never-ending

Lifting, drifting, lawn-offending

Piling, defiling, brownish-blending

Plotting, rotting, mildew pending

Sinking, stinking, moisture-lending

Nourishing, flourishing, grass is mending

Growing, showing Nature’s tending

  8. I love the rhyme! I like the image of the initially defiling leaves going on to nourish the growth of the garden, to make it green and lovely as it was.
