Summer Sunset

Waves rolling ashore
Washing it some more
Cleaning the sand we
Find quite so dandy
Tickling our toes
As each hour goes
So let’s go on wading
‘Cause summer is fading
One last wet walk
One last long talk
Until the sun sets low
Until it’s time to go

  1. I wish I could write as prolifically as you do! I love this one. But down here in the swamps we're still a few months away from cooler weather. It's been one L-O-N-G, HOT summer. xo

  2. It's so miserable here--114. I want water and sand!
