Time & Tide

Marking time in lapping waves
Nature’s clock keeps ticking
Seconds into hours and days
As those waves keep licking

Whether tides are high or low
The water’s always moving
A constant clock with tic and tock
Despite Man's disapproving

  6. How hilarious. I just wrote a piece about time in my notebook. No wait, was it a greeting card??? I dunno, but I wrote it anyway. Time as a legalistic entity.
