... seeing things a bit differently.
Love it, and it is so true. Thanks for the visit.
can you believe another year is almost over...kinda looking forward to some icicles...
..and we have already lots of snow over here..i liked your farewell‘s and hello‘s..
Every time I come here you seem to have moved things around--wasn't there a statue of a stone lumberjack with a beard up somewhere??? Anyway, enjoyed the words and pics here that mirror each other perfectly. And thanks as always for stopping by my joint.
A perfect poem to herald in December, Eric. That light fixture photo is awesome, but it's making me shiver :)
Hedgewitch, I'm always adding content to this blog, as well as my other two. (I keep hoping people will think they've missed something and will dig through the archives!)Talon, I took that photo in 2008, after a thaw-freeze cycle dripped water down from gutter icicles over the light fixture and re-froze.
first of all i love the photos especially the leaves...and the verses are so witty, so alive
Thanks, DeLi! I always try to be witty, but sometimes I only get half-way there.
I like this....you really say good bye to fall so well.....
loved the colors of the lines changing between autumn and winter..nice one Bubba..:)
Time to say goodbye Time to say hello...Nice :)thanks for stopping by my placecheers

Hello and goodbye!Seasons come ,seasons go!Love this!Your words define it all.Great one shot,Eric!Love it,as always!
sweet thoughts. I peek out my window every morning looking for a blanket of snow, but none yet. Snowflakes drifted through the air today though, enough to make some barely discernible drifts in amongst the last of the leaves that I never got around to raking. The kids & I are waiting, ready to race out for the first snow angels.
Ooohhh...love the form, and the gradual transformation of golden to white... Well penned, Eric!! Happy December!! :)
I loved your poem -- beautiful contrast. Nicely done!
I don't know where 2010 went to. this was fun and whimsical
