Aunt Polly

Aunt Polly was a real lady
She could play the ukulele
But she had a taste for booze
The cheapest she could choose

She would draw your portrait
For fifty cents, all of which went
Right back to the liquor store
Where she would buy some more

Some say she was tormented
And though her art she vented
But Aunt Polly was still a lady
She could play the ukulele

  1. Aunt Polly sounds suspiciously like an old neighbor. She didn't play the uke, but she had an accordion. :)
