Grave Presumptions (55)

It’s dangerous to presume
And much worse to insist
That magic isn’t real
Or ghosts do not exist

Endings aren’t always happy
Life’s not always fair
There are such things as monsters
The bogey man’s really there

Witches kiss fools
Under full moons bright
The voice that’s calling you
Is not the wind at night.

  5. I like this so much, you Halloween seer, you! It is great the way you shortened the other poem to create this 55...good editing.

  6. Like the way you condensed and sharpened the longer poem here--still effective, maybe more so. One of the reasons I play this game, since I tend to be way too wordy. Liked your technology bit above as well.

  7. Like they say, you never know.

    Nice rhythm to this.

  8. I am reasonably certain I have never been kissed by a witch. Is that proof that I'm not a fool?
