Hell is a place that has no music
Just a loud ringing that fills your ear
Hell is a place that has no color
Just deep darkness filled with fear
Hell is a place that has no love
Just hearts replaced with holes
Hell is a place that has no life
Just lost tormented souls
Be sure to check out my Photo Haiku 55
Hell is a place where many dwell

Yikes, sounds like my marriage.
ReplyDeleteI'm always impressed when someone manages verse and poetry in 55 -- I don't think I could tackle more than simple prose!
i really dont want to verify your facts...smiles. nice 55.
ReplyDeletesometimes i think hell has the music my son listens to at the moment....smiles...
ReplyDeleteI hope I never get to confirm this - the ringing alone would do me in!
ReplyDeletePlease, I don't waaaaaana go to hell. Ever. Or as Brian says, verify your facts. Or as perhaps I am picking up from Claudia, listen to her son's music.
ReplyDeletePlease, can I go to heaven?? I've been a (mostly) good girl and plan on keeping on doing good things! :)
xo
Don't worry about Hell, people... I'm sure when we die our spirits rejoin the Great Energy and we'll finally have no worries nor questions anymore.
ReplyDeleteHell no, we won't go. Hell is a religious creation to keep the masses in line. Your comment in probably more accurate, but no one knows for certain. Great 55.
ReplyDeleteVery neat verses - succinct and telling. No heaven, no hell - just stardust :-)
ReplyDeleteYou give such a vivid description I really hope I don't go to hell. :(
ReplyDeleteHmmm a place I don't want to go to any time soon. :) Great 55 my friend. :) Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteHell is a place with no books!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat post. Blessings!
That's a wonderful 55, Eric. Well done.
ReplyDeleteNo music? Definitely hell!
ReplyDeleteHell Michigan by Pinckney?
ReplyDeleteI Know Bubba...hehehehe
Your 55 was most poetic My friend.
Darkly great!
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End.
Makes me so glad I don't believe in hell! You paint quite a picture of torment. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteInteresting description of hell... a nice 55er ... I like Claudia's comment about the music,
ReplyDeleteI was hoping 'hell' had good music and chocolates, just encase St Peter doesn't open the gate.
Cheers,
Joanny
agree with your definition.
ReplyDeletebeautiful 55.
Excellent 55!
ReplyDeleteonly a penny? well hell. OOps. Great poem- great blog...I'll be back! Cheers
ReplyDeleteA wonderful 55 Eric, not a place I want to be my friend. Take care my friend x Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteMy faith makes me want to quote scripture, but I am never one to force my beliefs on others. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery well said, the emptiness and pain can be felt in your words.
So it's a lot like normal life, then.
ReplyDeleteto me Hell is just here!
ReplyDeletenice 55 :)
Reminds me of the fantasy Book "Inferno" I read as a teen...
ReplyDelete(part of Hell seems to be here already!)
Like your wrap up lines
btw- I'm zipping along on someone elses newer puter today
Ug and Yikes! Makes me glad I don't believe in that place...
ReplyDeleteSounds like hell. Except for the rhyming. Hell is probably pro-discord and anti-rhyme and reason. Nice 55.

I hope I don't end up in hell. :(
ReplyDeleteFabulous 55.
Fire and brimstone pit? Doubtful. I think hell is a vast, black, endless void sans warmth, light, or sensation of any kind but eternal loneliness.
ReplyDeleteA Hell post. Really. I thought you had issues there....not in Hell, but about Hell's very existence. I like it just the same.
ReplyDeleteMy 55 is HERE .
Sounds like my job...where the words of employees are heard as...the sound of silence.
ReplyDeleteNicely done for such a dark topic.
sounds like a place where i used to work
ReplyDeleteso sad, but good 55!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Hell is where my job is!
