Friday 55: Just Hell

Hell is a place that has no music
Just a loud ringing that fills your ear

Hell is a place that has no color
Just deep darkness filled with fear

Hell is a place that has no love
Just hearts replaced with holes

Hell is a place that has no life
Just lost tormented souls

  2. Yikes, sounds like my marriage.

I'm always impressed when someone manages verse and poetry in 55 -- I don't think I could tackle more than simple prose!

  5. I hope I never get to confirm this - the ringing alone would do me in!

  6. Please, I don't waaaaaana go to hell. Ever. Or as Brian says, verify your facts. Or as perhaps I am picking up from Claudia, listen to her son's music.

Please, can I go to heaven?? I've been a (mostly) good girl and plan on keeping on doing good things! :)

  7. Don't worry about Hell, people... I'm sure when we die our spirits rejoin the Great Energy and we'll finally have no worries nor questions anymore.

  8. Hell no, we won't go. Hell is a religious creation to keep the masses in line. Your comment in probably more accurate, but no one knows for certain. Great 55.

  9. Very neat verses - succinct and telling. No heaven, no hell - just stardust :-)

  16. Interesting description of hell... a nice 55er ... I like Claudia's comment about the music,
I was hoping 'hell' had good music and chocolates, just encase St Peter doesn't open the gate.

    Cheers,
    Joanny

  19. My faith makes me want to quote scripture, but I am never one to force my beliefs on others. :-)

Very well said, the emptiness and pain can be felt in your words.

  23. Sounds like hell. Except for the rhyming. Hell is probably pro-discord and anti-rhyme and reason. Nice 55.

  26. Fire and brimstone pit? Doubtful. I think hell is a vast, black, endless void sans warmth, light, or sensation of any kind but eternal loneliness.

  27. A Hell post. Really. I thought you had issues there....not in Hell, but about Hell's very existence. I like it just the same.

    My 55 is HERE .

  28. Sounds like my job...where the words of employees are heard as...the sound of silence.

Nicely done for such a dark topic.
