I would rather train
A stable of elephants
Than try to explain
The Table of Elements
This strange arrangement
So methodical
A change in raiment
Periodical
Thus, our human curse
This fantastic pox
Puts the universe
In a plastic box
Losing random grace
Natural order
Choosing human race
Obsessive sorter
Seems logical, but
We don’t understand
With eyes and hearts shut
We change what God planned
