Think me not a fool
When
I laugh and have fun
For I’ve been to school
And
When all’s said and done
It does us no good
To
Wallow in despair
Instead we all should
Just
Pretend we don’t care
For what good comes from
A
Life of misery
Crying ‘til we’re numb
At
The sorrows we see
Better to embrace
Each
Minute for its joy
A smile on your face
Like
A kid with a toy
Life is wonderful
If
We’d all learn to see
And be as cheerful
As
We’re all meant to be
Follow my advice
And
Go jump in that pool
You’ll find it quite nice
And
Think me not a fool
Good advice.
ReplyDeleteSounds good to me - but it had better be an indoor pool, with a hot tub!
ReplyDeleteA ditty for a day off. I agree with Sherry. And then it had better be a huge pool to fit all of those whose life it could improve.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful way to live life....there are many I would like to toss into the pool for a chlorine baptism...lol
ReplyDeleteClever advice playfully given! :) We should never let that child-like quality go...to see wonder and be joyous in each moment!
ReplyDeleteThis is jolly good advice.
