Awakened
Slugs and snails leave
slime trails
Wriggling maggots eat
entrails
Snakes and spiders sneak
and crawl
Spooks and specters hoot
and howl
Black bats flit by in the
moonlight
Seething demons prowl in
the night
Ghosts and ghouls moan low
and creep
It seems that I won’t get
much sleep
there are many people who leave slim trails: politicians......
