Every
little town has
One
crazy cat lady
And
each cat lady has
One
janky old cat
He
ain’t no old house cat
All
purring and cuddly
Won’t
sit on your lap for
All
the mice in the world
One
leg a bit shorter
Than
his other three legs
His
tattered, messed-up ears
Torn
from so much fighting
He’s
not a milk drinker
Nor
a gentle lover
He’s
low-down and nasty
Chock-full
of scratch and bite
His
fur all disheveled
Matted
down and dirty
A
ratty-ass tail and
A
mean disposition
He’s
the king of the streets
Out
prancing and pissing
And
growling and hissing
Best
you don’t cross his path
