Lackadaisical,
lax the days
Wasting
our time in so many ways
Quixotic,
our flittings, to and fro
Never
sure of which way to go
Superfluously
seeking new delights
Drawn
like moths to a million lights
Serendipity
wants to play its part
But
lost this battle from the start
Recompesatory
tallies will soon tell
If
we’re bound for Heaven or Hell
