Exercise

I’ve been going to the gym
I’ve been trying to get slim
Why is it taking so long?
Am I doing it all wrong?

It’s far too much work
To do the clean and jerk
And run a mile or two?
Much too hard to do

I’m trying to take it slow
I bend and curl and row
And twist and turn a lot
And sweat when I get hot

Then, feeling rather frail
I stepped upon the scale
Surprisingly I’ve found
I’ve lost another pound

Despite feeling so tired
I also feel inspired
And though my feet are frying
I know I’ll keep on trying

  2. Go get 'em Bubba. I love to workout and sweat. Don't know why. Early conditioning I suppose. I've always been on one sports team or another. I can even sweat in a pool!

    One pound of fat is a major accomplishment! Bravo!
