Waiting

I sat upon my favorite bench
One sunny afternoon

I sat and waited for the bus
Hoping it would come soon

I sat there and I waited
And then waited some more

I sat until I remembered that
The bus don’t run no more

  1. That was awesome. Sounds like me when I run on autopilot. One morning, I was so into my routine, I put my underarm stick deodorant on my cheek and my blusher stick under my arms. Going through the motions...

  2. Love this one, Eric! Figuratively speaking, there have been more than a few days lately when my "bus don't run no more"!
