Sail Away

I want to write a sea of words
And sail away upon it
I’d drift for days on the waves
Of every rippled sonnet

Each turn of phrase I’d follow true
And go where they might take me
I’ll give my trust and not resist
For words will not forsake me

  5. Nice setup in the first stanza introducing the writer's intentions. The second stanza is stellar in combination of flow, syntax, and meaning.

  12. Delightful, Eric. I've read enough of your words to know that your course is well set and runs true.
