Morning Wood


















I took a brisk walk through the morning wood
Thinking the fresh air might do me some good

The sun was so bright, the air crisp and clear
I heard a cock crowing from somewhere not near

Just wandering about at the crack of dawn
Wondering just now: How far have I gone?

    Umm...how do I say this delicately? Hmmm..gorgeous picture, lovely words. But, Eric? "Morning wood"?!? I was afraid to read this post, with a title like that! (Yeah, I guess I should get my mind out of the gutter...sorry!)
