The Thursday Think Tank - #21 Fear: One Of These Days...

One of these days I’m gonna get tired
Tired of holding myself together
Tired of restraining in so many ways
One of these days...

One of these days I’m gonna bust loose
Loose of these damned chains
Loose of moral links and mental plays
One of these days...

One of these days I’m gonna rage
Rage at the injustice, hurt and pain
Rage against anyone who meets my gaze
One of these days...

One of these days I’m gonna explode
Explode and have some retribution
Explode and set the whole world ablaze
One of these days...

  1. I like the repetition of thought and the link to the subject at hand. It lies under our hesitations after all.

  6. I love this! It's so easy to relate to the pent-up emotions we all try so hard to control. It's lucky that we have our writing to let loose in, isn't it...:)
