To Heart To Mind

Where does each emotion start?

In my head or in my heart?

For often times I do find

Passion overwhelms my mind

But then again it is true

Logic dictates what I do

I think and plan each action

And steer every reaction

But sometimes I lose my grip

Feelings try to sink my ship

Emotions taking their toll

Until I regain control

In my heart or in my head

Where has my emotion led?
