The path of least resistance

Sounds much like insanity

Better to try once, and then

Resort to profanity

Hope is always hanging there

But we can’t always hang on

Many fall into despair

Before their race has been run

There’s no need to sacrifice

Your dreams of a life so new

You can just find someone nice

And watch them live it for you
