Remember when the earth was flat
And Man would never fly?
The Heavens circled about us
And eating a tomato made you die
The truth of it was known to all
And none would dare to question
You’d be flogged, or stoned to death
Before you’d make such a suggestion
But now we know better, or so we may think,
Though I cannot help but to ponder…
How many beliefs that we’re clinging to now
Will seem foolish tomorrow, I wonder?
All great people had those same pondering thoughts....:-)
