ELECTRIC!

SPINNING!

Soundtrack snaps into place, but-

FLASH!
Fade…

Ocean roars

Sweating
Heart’s pounding

Dizziness

Back again,
Here… now.

    I missed the title and after reading through the poem I thought, this sounds like a seizure. Then I saw the title. Fantastically done.

    Vivid imagery. Well done.

    Do you or a loved one know 1st hand what this feels like? My brother was a sufferer. He died young when he had a seizure and drowned. Also, I've worked with many patients who have had seizures. I've often wondered what it truly was like. Many cannot recall.

    Wow. Sounds like a near death experience I don't want to have. I know it describes a seizure, but sheesh it shounds terrible.

    I have never had a literal seizure, but I think your poem must capture the experience well... you have done well with your literal (literary) seizure!
