“God” (For G-Man's Friday Flash 55)

(Regarding the traditional Judeo-Christian concept of “God”)

I find that wrapping my mind around this concept of God is much the same as wrapping my mind around concepts like Endless Time or a Limitless Universe: Even without proof, I can still imagine them existing.  But not believing is much easier, since it requires no proof.

  1. Couldn't agree with you more. A difficult topic to take on in only 55 words, but maybe the question is pretty simple, really, and we just make it hard.

  4. Belief requires an element of faith. Faith is tough. It requires belief :) and trust.

  5. I think it takes more faith to say that there is no god. But were you specifically referring to the Judeo-Christian revelation? There is work there.
